Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic, operationally minded, and detail-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. The CFO will drive financial strategy, oversee capital allocation and reporting, and lead diligence for our acquisitions. This role is central to building and maintaining the system of replicable decision-making and lean operations at Sleeping Giant Capital.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial reporting, working capital management, and cash flow forecasting
- Lead deal due diligence, financial valuation, and modeling with financial analysts
- Lead reporting of fund performance tracking (DPI, IRR, MOIC)
- Work with accountants to complete tax preparations K1s, reporting, and firm accounting
- Legal touchpoint and activities including establishing and structuring new legal entities (LLCs) and agreements
- Guide and consult financial operations of portfolio companies, including budgeting, equity modeling, and reporting to SGC
- Collaborate with CEOs-in-Residence and senior leadership on strategic initiatives
- Allocate resources for CEO-in-Residence program
